Eleven members of the National Guard, assigned to different battalions, were surprised in flagrance while guarding and transporting allegedly stolen fuel from a clandestine shot located in Apaseo El Alto, Guanajuato, according to a note from the website process.
The elements used official patrols and carried the institution’s armament to protect a tractocamión with autotanque connected directly to the illegal shot.
The arrest occurred on Saturday, May 24 and was made by the Municipal Police of Apaseo El Alto, after receiving a citizen report.
In the place, the officers found three official vehicles of the National Guard – two trucks and a Charger car – next to a tractocamión and a Nissan Guinda truck, apparently involved in the transfer of the stolen hydrocarbon.

When trying to interrogate one of the crew, the municipal agents witnessed an attempt to escape by the federal elements.
Despite this, the police managed to arrest 11 people: three officers and eight elements of basic scale. Some were uniformed and other civilian dresses.
The Ministry of National Defense (Sedena) confirmed the facts and corroborated the identity of military personnel, as well as the authenticity of insured vehicles and weapons.

All those involved were made available to the Attorney General’s Office, together with the tractocamion, the patrols, a Nissan Rogue truck and nine rifles.
The clandestine take was located on the Celaya-Palmillas macroll, at the height of the El Espejo community. So far, how many liters of fuel were not extracted from the site.
