Authorities seized more than 300 kilos of methamphetamines and arrested three people, one of them linked to the Pacific cartel, in the border city of Tijuana.
Among the detainees, according to official sources, is Marco Antonio Cabrera Flores, aka ‘Chepe’, who was operator of the criminal cell ‘Los Aquiles, related to the faction’ Los Mayos’ of the Pacific cartel.
The subject, according to official sources, was dedicated to the distribution and sale of drugs, hawk activities, sicariate and payroll to members of the criminal group in Tijuana.
Together with Cabrera Flores, Biviana Jaqueline Carrillo Gómez was also arrested, in addition to ensuring three short weapons, two loaders, cartridges, two kilos of cocaine, two kilos of methamphetamine and a vehicle.
The operation was carried out by the Ministry of Citizen Security and Protection (SSPC), the Secretariats of Defense, Marina, the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) and National Guard (GN) in coordination with state government authorities.

In a second action, also in Tijuana, authorities arrested Jesús Gilberto Mendoza García, who transported 322 kilos of methamphetamine in 129 containers.
Mendoza García, pointed out the agency, was arrested while security troops made surveillance tours in the El Refugio neighborhood, in the municipality of Tijuana, when they detected a black truck where its driver, noticing the presence of the authority, fled.
This originated a brief persecution that culminated in the parking lot of a shopping center.
“The agents marked the stop and carried out a security inspection to the unit, where they found 129 containers with 322 kilos of methamphetamine,” the statement said.
In another statement, the SSPC reported that the arrests occurred in monitoring of intelligence work to weaken criminal organizations, so they identified a property in the neighborhood (neighborhood) Villa del Prado fractionation, where Cabrera Flores was protected, dedicated to drug distribution.
In addition, the man coordinated homicides and surveillance activities, according to the authorities.
According to Mexican authorities, cells of at least five criminal groups operate on the northern border of the country: Sinaloa Cartel (CDS), Northeast Cartel (CDN), Gulf Cartel (CDG), Jalisco New Generation Jalisco Cartel (CJNG) and Cartel of the Arellano Félix (CAF).
