The documentary miniseries produced by rapper Curtis Jackson – better known as ’50 Cent’ – about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and the abuse accusations leveled against him will premiere on December 2.
The Netflix platform, where the docuseries will be broadcast, announced this Tuesday – in a statement – the release date of ‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning’, which it defined as “an astonishing analysis of the media mogul, music legend and convicted felon.”
50 Cent is the executive producer of the project, which will be directed by Alexandria Stapleton.
“I am grateful to everyone who trusted us with their stories, and proud to have Stapleton as director to bring this important story to the big screen,” the rapper wrote in the statement.
In the brief ‘teaser’ for the docuseries, which will have four episodes, 50 Cent is heard saying: “You can’t keep hurting people and nothing ever happens. It’s just a matter of time.”

According to the note, the documentary miniseries, through never-before-seen materials, will present to the public the story of Combs as a “powerful” man and creator of “an empire” under which an “underworld” of abuse existed.
The artist, founder of the Bad Boy Records label and promoter of the careers of musicians such as The Notorious BIG and Danity Kane, is now serving a sentence of more than four years in prison after being found guilty in July of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
After a trial that lasted two months, Combs, 55, was exonerated of the most serious crimes he faced: sex trafficking and organized crime.
Prosecutors accused Diddy of forcing his now ex-girlfriends to have marathon encounters with male sex workers that usually included the use of drugs, such as ecstasy or ketamine, and that could last for days.
“This is not just about Sean Combs’ story, nor about any of the victims, nor about the accusations against him, nor about the trial. This story reflects us as an audience and what we say by putting celebrities on such a high pedestal,” Stapleton noted.
