Seven out of ten Mexicans, 73%, approved the management of President Claudia Sheinbaum, which this Wednesday celebrates a year in the position of the country’s executive, revealed the monthly survey of the newspaper El Financiero.
This level of approval is a lower percentage point than it obtained in August (74%), two less points compared to July (75%) and twelve less than the month of February (85%), when it obtained the highest rating.
In the survey conducted to a thousand Mexicans, 48% valued that Mexico improved in poverty and inequality, as well as in schools and education system; while 44% highlighted the improvement in medical and public health services.
In addition, 39% said that they have improved the fight against fuel trafficking and 36% sees improvements with respect to Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex).
The most concerned issues for Mexicans were social insecurity (52%), corruption (21%) and economy or unemployment (18%).
On the management that the Sheinbaum executive performs in public security, 42% consider it as positive and 53% negative.

In relation to organized crime, seven out of ten, 74%, negatively consider that management, while 20% believe that it is being good or very good.
In the field of corruption, 75% consider that management is negative, and only 19% positive. This is the worst record since April.
The survey took into account the ceremony of the cry of independence, the first of Sheinbaum as president and for which she obtained 70% of favorable opinions against 27% unfavorable.
“His leadership image rose six points, to 66% favorable opinion, partly for their performance in the homeland ceremony,” said the survey.
The survey revealed that Sheinbaum obtained five more points of approval than his predecessor, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, when he turned a year at the head of the Government.
“It remains with a higher support, although the gap is closing in recent months,” the survey said.
Among the thousand respondents, 51% of people said they agree that Mexico imposes tariffs on China; while 45 % disagree.
The survey conducted by the Mexican media from 11 to 15 and from September 18 to 22 has a 95% confidence level and a 3.1% error margin.
