Spider-Man: Homecoming is days away from landing a shocking new streaming home. Tom Holland’s first Spider-Man film arrived in theaters in 2017 after the actor made his debut as the iconic web-slinger in Captain America: Civil War the year prior. Spider-Man: Homecoming received positive reviews and went on to gross $880 million at the box office.
With six months to go until the fourth film in the series, Brand New Day, is released, Spider-Man: Homecoming is getting a surprising streaming home: Peacock. The superhero movie will be available to watch on the NBCUniversal-owned platform beginning February 1.
Homecoming, which stars Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr., sees Spider-Man facing off against the villain Vulture.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is currently streaming on Disney+ and Paramount+. It’s unclear at this point if the film will leave either of those platforms after it joins Peacock.
That same day, several other films will arrive on Peacock, including Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy, The Boss Baby, the Fifty Shades trilogy, The First Wives Club, Ghost, Happy Gilmore, The Hate U Give, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, Notting Hill, Pride And Prejudice, Selma, Straight Outta Compton, Trolls and Zoolander.
Throughout February, other movies, like The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Conclave, will also be available to stream on the platform, along with the Peacock exclusive shows The ‘Burbs, House of Villains season 3, and The Traitors season 4 finale.
After the huge success of Homecoming, Holland returned for two sequels, 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home (currently streaming on Disney+) and 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home (streaming right now on Starz). The former grossed $1.1 billion, while the latter earned $1.9 billion.
All three of Holland’s Spider-Man films have received overwhelming praise from critics and audiences alike, with Rotten Tomatoes scores ranging from 91% to 93%.

This newer iteration of the fan-favorite superhero has been integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with characters like Iron Man, Pepper Potts, Captain America, Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Happy Hogan, Dr. Strange and Wong making appearances.
The most recent film, No Way Home, revolved around the multiverse and saw the return of Spider-Man characters from non-MCU movies, including Jamie Foxx’s Electro, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, Alfred Molina’s Dr. Octopus, Rhys Ifans’ Dr. Connors and Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman, as well as Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s versions of Peter Parker.
After Homecoming, Far From Home and No Way Home, Holland is reprising his breakout role for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which will be released in July. Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are returning as MJ and Ned Leeds, respectively, along with new cast members Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Tramell Tillman and Marvin Jones III.
The first three films set a precedent for including other MCU characters, and Brand New Day will be no different, with Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk and Michael Mando’s Scorpion all expected to have roles in the fourth installment.
There are still several months until Brand New Day is released, so until then, fans can rewatch the first three films, including Spider-Man: Homecoming, on Peacock beginning in February.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released in theaters on Friday, July 31, 2026.
