Located on the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai’s palm-shaped man-made archipelago, this elegant resort features exceptional views of the city’s skyline or bright blue water from its rooms and suites. If you book a Pearl Club room or suite, you can enjoy access to the elevated club lounge for breakfast and evening happy hours. The resort has enormous swimming pools and a long swath of beach with umbrella-shaded lounge chairs.

On the dates we checked, a standard room redemption cost 85,000 points per night.

2. Al Seef Heritage Hotel Dubai, Curio Collection by Hilton

Al Seef Heritage Hotel is designed like a traditional souk — or open-air marketplace — with guest rooms housed in 10 historic-style Arabic buildings. The hotel’s design includes vintage elements that highlight old Dubai. Guests can easily walk to a variety of shops and restaurants just outside the hotel. It’s a great option for those looking for a less traditional hotel. On the dates we checked, rates were as low as 38,000 points per night.

3. Embassy Suites by Hilton Dubai Business Bay

For families who want a little extra space or the business traveler who revels in the extra perks of the Embassy Suites by Hilton brand, this hotel is a great option. Spacious suites have ample sitting areas and separate bedrooms, many with beautiful views of the city’s glittering skyline and some with furnished balconies.

As with all Embassy Suites properties, guests are treated to complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast each morning of their stay as well as an evening reception with free cocktails and snacks. And the hotel has a great outdoor pool and a panoramic fitness center, too. On the dates we checked, the cheapest standard room redemption was 66,000 points.

IHG One Rewards

You can redeem IHG points at more than two dozen hotels in Dubai. From luxury brands like InterContinental to more affordable options like Staybridge Suites and Holiday Inn Express, there’s a redemption for all budgets. With the bustling marina in front of the hotel, this property offers resort amenities with business traveler-friendly perks. It is close to Jumeirah Beach and the Dubai Tram, making it easy to get around town without having to sit in traffic. If you’re thirsty, this hotel boasts the largest gin collection bar in all of Dubai. The lowest redemption for the dates we checked was 34,000 points per night.

5. Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown

Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown is close to Dubai Mall as well as the city’s Design District. Indigo’s bold design is on full display here. The property has an infinity-edge swimming pool, shisha lounge and bar, and skyline city views.

In the guest rooms, expect all kinds of quirky additions like enormous photo murals behind the beds depicting various scenes of Dubai, bathrooms coated in mother of pearl and floor-to-ceiling windows. A redemption night here on the dates we checked starts at 36,000 points.

With more than 30 brands, Marriott offers lots of choices around the world. In Dubai alone, options include the DJ-fueled pool scene of the W and the convenience of an airport hotel.

Facing the beach, this resort on the Palm Jumeirah features a happening pool scene, easy access to the beach, trendsetting bars and restaurants, and signature W music and art touches are all standard here. The spa is a destination in its own right with signature massages and paraffin hand treatments on the menu.

On the dates we checked, the Marriott property, which uses a dynamic pricing model, had redemptions for as low as 78,000 points per night.

7. JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai

Consisting of two towers, the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai is among the tallest hotels in the world, and Marriott Bonvoy top elite guests are in for a treat when visiting the property’s panoramic club lounge.

The hotel is close to Dubai Mall and sits along the bustling Sheikh Zayed Road stretch. This means it is just a short drive from most important tourist pursuits like Jumeirah Beach. A redemption starts at 55,000 points per night on the dates we checked.

World of Hyatt

The World of Hyatt hotel loyalty program still uses an award chart, which makes it easier for travelers to know how many points they need for a redemption. The options in Dubai include a variety of resorts and business hotels for different budgets and trip purposes.

8. Grand Hyatt Dubai

Primed for big group events (the hotel has one of the largest ballrooms in town, after all), the Grand Hyatt Dubai is about 15 minutes from the city’s main airport. It boasts resort amenities like a massive swimming pool and proximity to area shopping malls. World of Hyatt Globalists can enjoy access to the Grand Club lounge for breakfast and evening snacks.

Don’t have Globalist status? Find someone who does, and they might be able to provide a Guest of Honor benefit so you can experience the perks they receive. Redemptions at the Category 4 hotel cost between 12,000 and 18,000 points per night.

9. Andaz Dubai The Palm

This Palm Jumeirah luxury hotel has a beautiful beachfront swimming pool and easy access to the shoreline. An adults-only cabana pool is on the 14th floor with beautiful views of the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel and its own food and beverage menu. As a Category 5 redemption, a night here costs between 17,000 and 23,000 points.
