John Krasinski has revealed exactly who will be appearing in A Quiet Place: Part III, including a star from Sinners.

A Quiet Place has established itself as a major franchise within the horror genre. The franchise delivers consistent, suspense-driven storytelling and has grossed over $900 million combined from the three films released so far. In 2024, A Quiet Place: Day One set a franchise-best with a $53 million domestic opening. Husband and wife duo Krasinski and Emily Blunt paved the way for this franchise to thrive.

On Instagram, Krasinski revealed the new cast for his fourth addition to the horror franchise, A Quiet Place. Cillian Murphy is reprising his role in the franchise, and it’s also been revealed that new stars will be added to the film, including Sinners star Jack O’Connell, Zero Dark Thirty‘s Jason Clarke, and Katy O’Brian known for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

Krasinski is back in the director’s chair for A Quiet Place: Part III, which will take place after the events of 2020’s movie A Quiet Place Part II. Not much is known about where the movie is headed, but the official release date has been confirmed as July 30, 2027, with production already underway.

The prequel A Quiet Place: Day One, set in New York City, starring Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn, gave fans a glimpse into life just as meteor-like objects crashed down to Earth with aliens attacking everyone, where people learned the key practice set in all the films in this franchise that noise equals death.

Murphy’s character Emmett is returning to the fold, as he was shown in Part II as a hardened man who had lost hope as well as his family. He ends up being a crucial part of helping to save the Abbott family from the chaos that ensues following the tragedy of Part I and the death of Krasinski’s character, Lee Abbott.

A Quiet Place Part III will be released in theaters on July 30, 2027, with all three A Quiet Place films available to stream on Paramount+.
