The Chase-issued AeroplanĀ® Credit Card is boosting its welcome bonus for new applicants. From May 22 to Sept. 17, 2025, new holders of the Air Canada co-branded card are eligible for the following: Earn 75,000 bonus points after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. NerdWallet values Air Canada points at about 1.1 cents each (although the value can vary based on redemption options).

Previously, new applicants could earn 60,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 on purchases in their first three months from account opening, plus an additional 10,000 points after their annual fee renewal payment.
This new welcome offer gives new cardholders 15,000 more bonus points than the cardās previous upfront offer, but has a higher spending requirement in the same amount of time.
Besides the change to the cardās welcome offer, the terms and benefits of the AeroplanĀ® Credit Card remain the same.
The $95-annual-fee card offers the following ongoing rewards:
-
3 points per dollar spent on purchases made directly with Air Canada.
