Mexico City, (Reuters) .- América Mobe reported a net gain in the second quarter, overcoming the forecasts of analysts thanks to exchange gains for the appreciation of coins in Latin America.
“Our integral financing costs decreased significantly, thanks to which we could register 11,000 million pesos in exchange gains,” said Carlos Slim’s telecommunications group in a statement.
The net profit of the group reached 22,280 million pesos between April and June, reversing a loss of 1,090 million pesos in the same quarter last year.
