“Stable Housing” is a new quest added to ARC Raiders with the Shrouded Sky update, alongside “Keeping An Eye Out,” and a few others. They continue the game’s incremental story as the Rust Belt is engulfed in a hurricane, ARC Raiders‘ new map condition.
You get “Stable Housing” from Tian Wen, the weapon merchant, and it requires a trip to Stella Montis. If you’re in aggressive ARC Raiders lobbies, this may be a particularly difficult quest, since Stella Montis is known for its PvP. You should not use a free loadout, however, since “Stable Housing” requires an item be brought back to Speranza, which is much easier to ensure if you have a safe pocket.
Where To Find The Security Bridge In Stella Montis
Your first objective in “Stable Housing” is to locate the Security Bridge in Stella Montis, which runs through the middle of the Lobby area (a medium-loot location). More specifically, the Security Bridge spans the third floor of the Lobby. If you have trouble navigating Stella Montis, I recommend placing a ping so you know which direction to go generally, but then navigate by the diegetic signage. Once you start getting close, “Lobby” will be painted near doorways, showing you where to go.
How To Find & Open The Safe
Next you’ll have to locate and open a safe, which is a multistep process. First, you’ll find the safe in a room near the east end of the Security Bridge, with a big number 3 painted on the wall nearby (the third-floor indicator). The safe itself is on a desk in the back right corner; the second image in the gallery above shows what the safe looks like. It is, unfortunately, locked, so you’re instructed to retrieve an access card.
The access card printer is in the room directly above the safe, on the fourth floor. Simply take the stairs up and around, and look for the printer on the desk (pictured above). When you interact with it, though, something has clearly gone wrong, and you are not, in fact, granted an access card to the safe.
The alternate way into the safe is back down the stairs, in the third-floor room with the safe. You’re looking for a bulletin board covered in paper, just inside the doorway. Interact with it to learn the safe’s numerical code, then turn around, and interact with the safe one more time to open it.
Out will pop an item called Project Heartwood Blueprints, which you’ll need to bring to Tian Wen. If you’re worried about having to go through all that rigamarole again, definitely stick those blueprints in your safe pocket. That way, the quest item will make it safely back to Speranza, regardless if you manage to do the same. Collecting your reward from Tian Wen is the last step in completing the new ARC Raiders quest, “Stable Housing.”
