The National Archives of the United States published thousands of pages of documents related to the murder of Senator Robert F. Kennedy (RFK), according to the agency’s website, following an order by President Donald Trump to publish information that was previously restricted.

The national archives published more than 10,000 pages of files related to Kennedy’s murder, according to the details of its website on Friday. The measure is part of a broader effort of the Trump government to make public information about murder of several notorious American people.

The agency previously published archives related to the murder in 1963 of then President John F. Kennedy, who died several years before the senator, his brother.

“Raising the veil on RFK’s papers is a necessary step to restore confidence in the US government,” said the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., son of the senator.

The head of Health has previously said that he believes that his father was killed by several armed men, an affirmation that contradicts the official versions.

The Trump government has also promised to declassify the records related to the murder of the civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr.

The national archives did not respond to a request for comments on when to wait for King archives or if they would be published more related to the murders of the Kennedy brothers.
