The Argentine Justice charged President Javier Milei, deputy Lilia Lemoine, national government officials and supporters of the ruling party, after the complaint of threats and public intimidation, among other positions, presented by the journalist Julia Mengolini, after she received multiple violent messages through her social networks.
The federal prosecutor Federico Domínguez, of the Court of the town of San Isidro (province of Buenos Aires), accepted on Thursday the presentation of Mengolini and charged Milei, Lemoine, the presidency official, Santiago Oría, and the ultra -right -wing influencer Daniel Parisini – more known for his nickname in social networks, fat public flows, crime apology and illicit association.
In his opinion, Domínguez required the realization of a battery of proof measures aimed at identifying and locating the people who threatened the journalist and her family, in addition to ordering protection measures such as a police custody for her and the delivery of the antipanic button.
The prosecutor requested the production of evidence to verify the existence of an organization, financed with public funds and coordinated by first-level officials, aimed at intimidating and finally silencing those who- by any circumstance- are critical of the Milei government.
In Mengolini’s lawsuit, presented on July 15, the Provincial Deputy for Libertad Avanza, Agustín Romo, the presidency audiovisual filmmaker, Santiago Oría, and a group of ultra -right influencers made up of Nazarena Aylén Colaleo (known in the social network X as @altashanta or also ‘Lorem Ipsum’), Franco Iván Jeremiah Puchol Puchol (@Franfijap), Esteban Glavinich (@Traductorteama), Mariano Pérez (@marianoperez912), Daniel Parisini (@gordodan_), Pedro María Lantaron (@elpitttttt) and Alejandro Sarubbi Benítez (@gordoleyes).

The president of Argentina had denounced on July 1 Mengolini for insults, in the midst of a digital harassment spiral, headed by the president himself with dozens of publications on social networks and that his followers joined.
Milei’s lawyer, Francisco Oneto, had submitted a complaint against the director of Futurock in the criminal and correctional court number 7 of Argentina, based on the fact that she had affirmed in a radial program that the president was “in love with her sister”, which would imply an incestuous relationship.
Mengolini, who is openly Kirchner and opponent of the Milei government, told Efe on July 1 that the complaint took it by surprise, because at the time of receiving it he was preparing his own judicial presentation against the president, which he interprets as a “counterattack”.
In that report, the journalist insisted that in previous days she had been subject to death threats through private messages and emails.
Asked about whether he gave entity to the threats received, Mengolini replied that: “Things do not happen until they happen. In this country, someone tried to kill Cristina,” he said, in reference to the attempted murder against former president Cristina Fernández at the door of her house in Buenos Aires, on September 1, 2022.
