Ashton Martini, Yoni Sade Launch Houston Brokerage

Martini & Co. Real Estate Advisors launched recently, opening offices in Houston, Dallas, Atlanta and Miami with plans to expand to Los Angeles, a news release said. The firm was founded by prominent broker Ashton Martini, who departed Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty in December after joining in 2022, and residential and industrial developer Yoni Sade, Chair and CEO of Houston-based Sade Real Estate.

The brokerage will offer residential representation and developer consulting. Martini has closed nearly $1 billion in sales over his career, while Sade Real Estate has developed more than 15,000 units nationally, the release said. Sade’s development firm will have partial ownership in the brokerage.

Here’s what else is shaking in Texas real estate.

Dallas-based BBG Real Estate Services hired Christopher Fudacz as senior managing director to kickstart its recently formed data center valuation and advisory practice. Fudacz previously spent more than a decade at CBRE, where he led the national data center valuation group. He’ll oversee BBG’s national expansion into the rapidly growing data center sector, focusing on appraisals, feasibility studies and consulting for institutional clients, a news release said.

Holt Lunsford Commercial Investments hired Matthew Sibley as vice president, focused on sourcing and executing development opportunities in Houston. Sibley spent three years as associate director of industrial development at Stream Realty Partners, where he oversaw deal execution across the Southeast. He previously held roles at CBRE.

SRS Real Estate Partners named Karla Smith co-market leader in its Dallas office. Smith will partner with Ryan Johnson to expand the firm’s presence in North Texas. A top producer at SRS since 2020, her clients include Target, Macy’s, AT&T and Frost Bank, a news release said. Smith has served on SRS’s board and helped launch the firm’s platform for supporting women in brokerage.

Florida-based Kolter Multifamily hired Charles Cochran as managing director for Texas, based in Austin. Cochran joined from Alliance Residential, where he helped lead the development of 20 multifamily projects totaling 7,000 units and $1.2 billion in value, a news release said. He previously worked on Newmark’s multifamily investment sales team in Austin. At Kolter, he’ll oversee site acquisition, entitlements, construction and asset management as the firm expands across the Sun Belt and Mountain West.

Christie’s International Real Estate @properties Lone Star appointed Bill Greenwald as regional vice president for its Frisco office. A U.S. Navy veteran with over 35 years of experience in sales and real estate, Greenwald most recently worked as an agent for Greenwald Real Estate Group with eXp Realty in Dallas, according to LinkedIn. He’ll lead day-to-day operations and agent development as the firm continues its expansion in one of the state’s most competitive residential markets.
