New York, (EFE) .- At least one officer was injured and transferred to a hospital this Friday after a shooting at the Campus of the Emory University of Atlanta, in Georgia, United States, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
The Emory University issued an alert on its social networks warning that there was an “active shooter.”
“Corra, hide, fight. Avoid the area. Continue refugee. Police in the place,” the university’s critical preparation and response office wrote in X.
According to Fox5, both the Emory University, and the University Hospital of the same name have been closed.
The local medium also indicates that there are several police vehicles with shots and some with fluid leaks.
