Belgian stocks rose in late trade; BEL 20 from Investing.com rose 1.49%

Investing.com – Belgium stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as shares in the sector rose.

At the close in Brussels, the exchange rate rose 1.49% to a 52-week high.

They were the best performers of the session Ears (EBR: ), which traded up 11.89% or 26.20 points to trade at 246.60 at the close. Meanwhile, D’Ieteren NV (EBR: ) added 4.44% or 9.60 points to end at 226.00 while Elia (EBR: ) added 2.33% or 2.40 points to 105.50 .

They were the worst performers of the session Umicore SA (EBR: ) traded down 1.77% or 0.18 points to end at 9.97. Ageas (EBR: ) traded down 0.65% or 0.30 points to 46.04 and building ( EBR: ) traded down 0.08% or 0.05 points to 63.45.

The number of shares that increased in price on the Brussels Stock Exchange decreased from 65 to 28, while 15 remained unchanged.

Sofina (EBR: ) shares hit 52-week high; It increased by 11.89% or 26.20 to 246.60. Umicore SA (EBR:) shares hit 5-year low; It decreased by 1.77% or 0.18 to 9.97. Shares of D’Ieteren NV (EBR 🙂 rose to an all-time high; It gained 4.44% or 9.60 and reached the level of 226.00.

December gold futures rose 0.21% or 5.35 to $2,529.95 per troy ounce. In other commodity trades, the price of crude oil for October increased by 1.06% or 0.72 to $68.39/barrel, and the cost of 1 barrel of Brent oil in November increased by 0.69% or 0.49 to $71.55/barrel was equal.

EUR/USD was 0.33% unchanged at 1.10, and EUR/GBP was 0.01% unchanged at 0.84.

US dollar index futures increased by 0.35% and reached the level of 101.50.
