Los Angeles.- Ben Affleck will star in Netflix ‘Animals’ thriller, after his friend and partner Matt Damon retired from production to participate in the next Christopher Nolan movie, ‘The Oddysey’, Variety reported.
Affleck will also direct the project and will be his return as director after the premiere in 2023 of the film ‘Air’, which Damon starred, about the history of Nike tennis.
It is expected that the filming of ‘Animals’ will take place in Los Angeles in April, while the Nolan movie will begin its recordings in February in different international locations.
Of the plot, the only thing that is known until now is that it is a police story that follows a candidate for mayor whose son is kidnapped.

Although Damon will no longer star in the film, ‘Good Will Hunting’ will remain part of the project as a producer through the producer who leads with AFFleck, Artists Equity, and the script will be carried out by Billy Ray (‘Captain Phillips’ and ‘The Hunger Games’) and Connor McIntyre.
