The White House published an artificial intelligence policy (AI) plan in which the priorities of the United States are detailed to achieve a “global domain” in the sector.
President Donald Trump’s plan asks the developers to make the AI models available to anyone in the world so that they can be downloaded and modified.
The plan also asks that the Department of Commerce investigate the Chinese models of AI to see if they respond to the precepts and censorship of the Chinese Communist Party.
And he adds that the Federal Government should not allow federal financing related to AI to go to states with “onerous” regulations.
