The Brazilian government presented on Monday a formal response to the investigation initiated in July by the United States under section 301 of the 1974 Commerce Law on the commercial practices of the South American country.
In his response, available on the website of the United States Commerce Representative, the Brazilian government said that “it rejects the allegations made in the starting warning,” and urged the “USTT to reconsider the beginning of this investigation and establish a constructive dialogue.”
