Queen Camilla, wife of King Charles of England, has been forced to give up her engagements scheduled for this week after suffering a chest infection, Buckingham Palace reported this Tuesday.
Camila, 77, is resting at home as she recovers, but no further details have been given about her illness, as is customary in royal medical affairs.

“Her Majesty The Queen is currently unwell due to a chest infection and has therefore been advised by her doctors to take a short period of rest,” a palace spokesperson said.
“It is with great regret that Her Majesty has had to withdraw from her commitments this week, but hopes to be recovered in time to attend this weekend’s commemorative events normally.”
