Business organizations in the Mexican tourism sector formalized a strategic alliance to strengthen the competitiveness, professionalization, sustainability and image of Mexican tourism through a common long-term work agenda.

The signing of the agreement took place in the Mexico Pavilion, IFEMA, Madrid, within the framework of the International Tourism Fair, according to a joint statement from organizations such as Coparmex, Canirac and CNET.

The framework agreement establishes the bases for permanent coordination of the private tourism sector, focused on raising the quality of services, strengthening the professionalization of human capital, building a common agenda of public policies and tourism promotion, and consolidating a unified business representation before national and international authorities and markets.

The organizations agreed that the unity of the private sector is a key factor to face current challenges and take advantage of the opportunities of tourism, consolidating a shared vision that contributes to the generation of employment, attraction of investment and regional development in the country.
