Fore! Carbon Companies is teeing up new phases of The Links on PGA Parkway.
The Dallas-based developer is bringing three additional multifamily buildings to its upscale apartment community at 15950 Paramount Way. The development is located less than 2 miles down the road from the $520 million Omni PGA Frisco Resort.
Phase 3 of The Links will include a 426,000-square-foot apartment complex that is expected to cost $38.5 million. Phase 4 will include two apartment buildings totaling 632,000 square feet. This phase is expected to cost $58.4 million, according to a state filing. The number of units wasn’t disclosed.
Work will begin in December and will wrap up before the end of 2026, per the filing. The designer for the latest phases is Dallas-based GSR Andrade Architects.
For phases 1 and 2, 690 multifamily units were constructed as well as building amenities, Community Impact reported. At full build-out the project is expected to include 1,310 units.
The Links is just one example of the “PGA halo effect,” where the new resort has spurred additional nearby development.
Frisco’s pipeline for mixed-use development is loaded with multi-billion dollar projects. JVP Management got the green light last fall to build The Mix, a $3 billion megadevelopment. Hall Group is taking the lead on Hall Park, a $7 billion development to include 15 buildings. Wilks Development has partnered up with Frisco Economic Development Corporation to build Firefly Park.
The area will soon be home to a 97-acre Universal Studios theme park and resort, expected to open in 2026.
Carbon Companies focuses on multifamily development in the Texas Triangle.
The firm’s recent projects include a $12 million senior living community in College Station and a $45 million apartment complex on the North Side of San Antonio.
