Carlos Vela officially announced his football retirement after 9 months of inactivity. The former FC player confirmed his retirement through social networks with an emotional video in which he thanked his family and all the clubs he passed through.

Vela jumped into the international panorama when he was champion in the FIFA World Cup Sub-17 of 2005. This tournament put him in the sight of European clubs for his great talent.

Carlos signed for the Arsenal of England, where he began a long European journey with scales in clubs such as Salamanca, Osasuna, West Bromwich and, above all, the Royal Society, where he lived his best years.
