“The arrival of investments to Mexico are being disatorium, there is even a waiting list for the president of the Republic, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, and some secretaries are receiving the managers,” said the manager at the end of a meeting he had with Carlos Lema, Undersecretary of Revenue of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP).
Cervantes Díaz added that the directors of the companies, who are investing in Mexico, want to talk with the president and the Secretaries of State, which will give them a lot of security and certainty to land capital in the country.
The arrival of investments to the Mexican market began to be reactivated, since the decision makers of the companies saw that the uncertainty is worldwide and “Mexico still has better conditions than other countries,” he said.
Today the arrival of reinvestments are larger than the new foreign investments, but “they are already ready to get there and there is a waiting list again”
“Mexico is still attractive to investment today and makes us very attractive the 3 thousand 150 kilometers of border with the United States. And that border if it were a country, would be the third economy worldwide,” he said
The Mexico Plan arrives at a very opportune moment, because it helps to overcome the challenges of uncertainty for a commercial war created by Donald Trump, president of the United States, he said.
The Mexico Plan has the investment levers and infrastructure, which are necessary to detonate the development and economic growth of the country.
“The two levers (from the Mexico Plan) are being activated, we are working in the middle of the deceleration and the tariff issue in the United States,” he said.
