Sam Altman, Executive Director of OpenAI, rejected the proposal of a group of investors headed by Elon Musk to buy from the startup that supervises the development of Chatgpt.

“No, thanks, but we will buy Twitter for 9,740 million dollars if you want,” Altman revolved.

Elon Musk responded with a “scammer.”

Musk acquired Twitter, now called X, for 44,000 million dollars in 2022.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the offer not requested for 97.4 billion dollars was presented on Monday to the OpenAI Board of Directors, according to Marc Uberoff, Musk’s lawyer.

Musk and Altman are already wrapped in an ongoing demand. The owner of Tesla criticized a massive project of 500,000 million dollars led by Openai called Stargate, announced with large fanfare in the White House just after President Donald Trump returned to charge, suggesting that the investors involved lacked funds for the project .

Musk co -founded Openai with Altman in 2015, but he left before the company took off. Subsequently, he founded the competitive artificial intelligence startup in 2023.

Currently, Openai is trying to transition from a non -profit entity to a profit, which, according to the company, is necessary to ensure the capital required to develop the best artificial intelligence models.
