The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) reported profits of 56,416 million pesos in the third quarter, after losses of almost 10,300 million pesos in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the company’s income grew 1.8% annually to 184,264.4 million pesos.
In the accumulated to September, the income of the company directed by Emilia Esther Calleja increased 4.2% to 523,999 million pesos.

“This increase is mainly due to the increase in income from the sale of fuel to third parties and from energy transportation services,” it indicated in its financial report.
Net profit in the first three quarters of the year totaled 122,259.7 million pesos, compared to the loss of 85,397.6 million recorded in the same period last year.
