Los Angeles, (EFE) .- Charlize Theron and Rosie O’Donell were some of the personalities that criticized businessman Jeff Bezos and his wife, journalist Lauren Sánchez, for organizing a wedding of 50 million dollars in the Italian city of Venice.
The ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ actress inaugurated the event of her Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP) Foundation, in Los Angeles, this weekend joking that perhaps those present were the “only” who had not been invited to the three -day wedding of Bezos.
“But it doesn’t matter, they are disgusting and we are great,” Theron added, according to The Hollywood Reporter specialized media.
The interpreter also criticized the migratory policies of the administration of the president of the US, Donald Trump, and assured that these had “destroyed the life of families, not of criminals.”

This Monday the comedian Rosie O’Donell used her Instagram to show her dissatisfaction with the event and in a publication called Sánchez a “false female robot wife.”
“The bezos wedding stoluted my stomach. Seeing all these billionaires gather in the midst of excesses,” he wrote.
O’Donell, who moved to Ireland shortly after Trump’s victory in the last elections, also lashed out at some of the guests at the party, among which were the Kardashian family, Sydney Sweeney, the president’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, or the actor and environmentalist Leonardo DiCaprio.
“Is Oprah a friend of Jeff Bezos?, Really? How is it possible? Treats her employees with disdain. From any point of view, she is not a good person,” O’Donell added in relation to the presenter and philanthropist Oprah Winfrey, who also attended the marriage.
In the days in which the different wedding events were held, protests were produced on the impact on the city, as well as activists recriminated Bezos that it has “been able to rent Venice”, while its multinational Amazon avoids paying taxes in Italy.
