The Mexican driver Sergio “Checo” Pérez announced that by mutual agreement with Red Bull they agreed to end the employment relationship in Formula 1.
The team reported that during the four years that “Checo” Pérez was in its ranks “he played a crucial role in securing multiple victories, countless podiums and two constructors’ world championships, contributing significantly to the team’s most successful era in Formula 1”.
Meanwhile, the Mexican assured that it has been an honor to race with Max Verstappen, to have him as a teammate and to share so many successes, and he also thanked Red Bull.
“I am extremely grateful for four years with Red Bull Racing and for the opportunity to race with an incredible team, driving for Red Bull has been an unforgettable experience and I will always treasure the success we achieved together. “We broke records, achieved great achievements, and I had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful people along the way.”
Finally, “Checo” thanked the Mexican fans to whom he told that he would see her soon and concluded with his classic “Never Give Up’.”
Just on December 13, the FIA published the list of registered drivers for 2025 and Pérez appeared in Red Bull alongside Verstappen, however, this did not ensure that there could not be changes in the team.
