China’s Ministry of Commerce reported Tuesday that it added seven American companies to its so-called “Untrustworthy Entity List” due to their involvement in arms sales to Taiwan, a territory that China considers part of its sovereignty.

Starting this Tuesday, companies included in the blacklist, including Inter-Coastal Electronics, will be prohibited from exporting to China, importing from the country or making new investments in its territory, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
