The damage caused by cybercriminals to the Russians promoted last year to 200,000 million rubles (about 2,000 million dollars), the Russian Interior Ministry reported today.
“If in 2023 that figure was 147,000 million rubles, last year there were already 200,000 million,” said Interior Vice Minister Andréi Jarpov, cited by the Interfax agency.
The increase is due to a greater number of fraud with the credits, he said.
