Álvaro Jaramillo, CEO of Citi of Mexico, said that the group is committed to the Mexican economy to take it to the next level at times of uncertainty and risk aversion in the world.
“We are still committed to Mexico, since we passed through a long separation process (Citi and Banamex),” recalled the banker in the delivery of recognitions to the best CFOs of Mexico 2025, a list made by Forbes Mexico.
“Today, Citi Mexico is on a solid road, since we have several characteristics of size, scale and knowledge,” said the manager of the US trade bank.
He said that the bank has a tradition of 100 years in Mexico with the support of the companies of the companies, to which they give financing and credits for their operation.
He stressed that the level of the CFO in Mexico is very evident, which are responsible for the business strategies of the industries responsible for producing all goods and services in Mexico.

“And that is where we see the bank’s commitment and integration with you makes our work much more interesting and retantly,” said Álvaro Jaramillo.
“The example of the Mexican CFO from the perspective of execution, strategy and technical knowledge is at a level that is very difficult to find in other parts of the region,” he said.
“There are always very good people and represented by you, so it must be a reason for a lot of pride for Mexico and the CFOS,” he said.
Diego Salazar, editor in Chief of Forbes Mexico, said it is the CFOS that face from their companies to a context of uncertainty for the policies of Donald Trump and the approval of the reforms such as the judicial one in Mexico.
“Today the legal change is a challenging moment for Mexican companies,” he said.
“The work they have in their hands is exciting,” he added.
