The National Coordinator of Education Workers (CNTE) rejected the proposal of five points of the Government, of “Pure straw”, but will analyze the teaching basis to determine the following actions, according to a report by the Quadratín news agency.
The general secretary of Section 22 of the Magisterial Dissent in Oaxaca, Yenny Aracely Pérez, recalled that its central demand is the abrogation of the ISSSTE Law of 2007, since “we demand a worthy retirement for the State workers and we have an answer from the federal government that its amplitude does not abrogate it.”
After the meeting with the Secretaries of the Interior, Rosa Icela Rodríguez and Public Education, Mario Delgado, as well as the director of the ISSSTE, Martí Batres, Yenny Aracely regretted that “today it is clear to us that although the government changes when a party different to power arrives, it will always continue to benefit the capitalist system and not the workers.”

According to a note from the El Universal website, the five points raised by the Sheinbaum government to the CNTE are: Decree for the progressive freezing and decrease of the retirement age; Interdisciplinary collective for the study of alternatives of the social security schemes of workers at the service of the State; Disappearance of the unity of the system for the career of the teachers; Tripartite commissions and retirement regime record.
In their blockade of Paseo de la Reforma, the members of the negotiating commission of the CNTE stressed that they did not accept anything in the dialogues with the government, and insisted on a meeting with President Claudia Sheinbaum, according to El Universal.
The CNTE rejected that it intends to boycott the judicial election of June 1, since “those choice of themselves was born boycotted by the little participation that there will be.”
