Another townhouse development from Eckstrom’s Carlos Saavedra and Nicole Eckstrom has scored the top weekly contract in the Brooklyn luxury market.
The 23-foot-wide townhouse had a last asking price of $11.85 million.
In total, the borough saw 22 contracts — six condos, one co-ops and 16 townhouses — with a total volume of $80 million from June 16 to June 22, according to Compass’ weekly report of contracts for homes asking at least $2 million. The previous week saw 28 contracts signed for $79 million.
There were 26 luxury contracts signed for $88 million during the same week last year.
The husband-wife development pair behind development firm Eckstrom NYC have made a name converting properties around Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill, putting two townhouses into contract last year with last asking prices over $14 million.
They have also had a number of townhouses-to-condo conversions appear in the top weekly contracts.
The home at 51 Tompkins Place has four beds and full bathrooms. The chef’s kitchen, which looks out onto a private landscaped garden, features a 20-foot-long Calacatta Viola marble wall.
The five-story townhouse has modern amenities, including an elevator, a gym with a double-height ceiling, a cedar sauna, and a roof deck with an outdoor kitchen.
The home is “move-in ready,” according to the listing, a deviation from most of the couple’s previous townhouse conversions, which allowed buyers to pick through a number of potential finishes.
Last year, Eckstrom scored top contracts in the borough on townhouses at 170 Clinton asking almost $14 million and 307 Hicks Street asking $15.5 million.
Saavedra, who has his license with Park Property Advisors, and Jorge Murillo had the listing.
The duplex penthouse at Two Trees’ One Domino Square in Williamsburg had the second highest contract last week.
Penthouse 1A had an asking price of $7.45 million, making it the priciest sponsor sale in the neighborhood’s history. The sale also set the area’s price per square foot record at $3,046 per square foot.
Naftali Group’s Williamsburg Wharf, which scored a contract in December for a penthouse asking $7.2 million, held the previous record.
The 2,400-square-foot condo features three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and a 600-square-foot wraparound terrace.
Amenities at One Domino Square include an aquatics center with an indoor swimming pool and spa, cold plunge, hot tub, steam room, sauna and a heated outdoor pool overlooking the East River. It also features a private dining room, barbecue grilling terrace and media room.
Sales are being run by an in-house team led by Aaron Goed.
The 160-unit condo tower is part of the company’s larger mixed-use development that includes and surrounds the former Domino Sugar refinery. One Domino Square also features a 399-unit rental building that is fully leased.
Contracts signed last week had a median asking price of $2.9 million with an average price per square foot of $1,437 and an average discount of 2 percent.
