Washington, (Reuters) President Donald Trump said Coca-Cola had agreed to wear cane sugar in his drinks in the United States after his conversations with the company.
“I have been talking to Coca-Cola about the use of real cane sugar in Coca-Cola in the United States, and have agreed to do so. I would like to thank all those who have responsibilities in Coca-Cola,” Trump said in a publication in Truth Social.

The Make America Healthy Again (Maha) of Trump’s government, named for the social movement aligned with the Secretary of Health Robert F. Kennedy JR, has pressed to food companies to modify their formulations and eliminate ingredients such as artificial coloring.
Coca-Cola produced for the US market usually is sweetened with corn syrup, while in other countries the company uses cane sugar.
Kennedy has criticized the amount of sugar consumed in the American diet and has said that the updated dietary guidelines that will be published this summer boreal will advise Americans to eat “integral foods.”
