Consumer confidence in the economy of their homes and the country had its largest decline in November since December 2021, according to Inegi data.
The indicator stood at 44.2 points, a drop of 1.6 points compared to the previous month, according to seasonally adjusted data from the statistics institute.
The five components of the tool to measure consumer perception of the economy fell compared to October.
The one that measures the perception of the country’s expected economic situation within 12 months, compared to the current one, fell 2.4 points.

The one that monitors the economic situation of the current country compared to that of a year ago gave up 2.3 integers.
The component that measures confidence about the household’s economic situation within a year decreased one point.
The one related to the confidence about the current moment of the members of the household compared to what they had a year ago fell 0.9 points.
And the component that measures consumers’ possibilities, compared to those of a year ago, to make purchases of durable goods, such as furniture, televisions or washing machines, fell 0.8 points.
Compared to November of last year, the Consumer Confidence Indicator fell 3.5 points, the deepest drop since November 2022.
