The Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) reported that, while carrying out surveillance tours in the San Miguel Chapultepec neighborhood, Miguel Hidalgo mayor’s office, agents observed that a Cybertruck electric van, of the latest generation and gray color, had collided with the gate of a home. on Capitán Martínez de Castro street.

The vehicle, manufactured by Tesla, demolished the access to a housing complex. The incident occurred at the intersection of Pedro Antonio de los Santos and Capitán Martínez de Castro, in the First Section of San Miguel Chapultepec. A few meters away, on the same street, another truck of a similar color had damage to its side, apparently due to the impact of the same electric vehicle.

The agents spoke with a 23-year-old man, who claimed to be the driver of the vehicle and assured that he would contact his insurance company to resolve the situation.

Neighbors in the area said that around 3:00 a.m. they heard a loud bang in their hallway. When they looked out, they discovered that a Tesla, valued at more than two million pesos, had broken down the front door.

Residents approached and spoke with the occupants of the Cybertruck, two men aged approximately 50 and 35, who assured them that they would cover the damage caused.

Testimonies from neighbors indicate that the occupants of the luxury vehicle showed no signs of having consumed alcohol.

According to the initial version of the accident, the driver of the Tesla lost control, first hitting a truck parked on Pedro Antonio de los Santos and then hitting the door of the home.

The official report indicates that there were no injuries. The vehicle, with a driving license, was removed from the scene shortly after 9:30 a.m.
