Art-collecting couple Howard and Cindy Rachofsky have listed their Dallas home, known as the longtime site of the Two x Two gala, after hosting the event for the last time last year.

Compass’ Faisal Halum has the off-market listing for the Rachofsky House, at 8605 Preston Road, the Dallas Morning News reported. There’s no listing price.

The 10,000-square-foot home was designed by Richard Meier and built in 1996. The bright white rectangular building stands on a podium; its rear facade is almost entirely made of glass.

The home took a decade to complete and become the home for the couple’s extensive art collection. The Dallas Museum of Art will receive the collection.

According to the home’s website, the three-story home sits on 3.25 acres and has just one bedroom.

The Rachofskys hosted “the best dinner party in town” at the house for 25 years. The annual Two x Two gala and art auction, which benefitted the Dallas Museum of Art and amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research, attracted celebrities like Stanley Tucci and Alan Cumming.

The event netted $120 million over 25 years.

Dallas-Fort Worth has become the state capital for luxury home listings. DFW logged 11 home sales over $10 million last year, more than double Houston’s five, while Austin had recorded zero, according to the MetroTex Association of Realtors, HAR and Compass.

Demand is concentrated in Highland Park, University Park and Preston Hollow, with new builds and legacy homes alike getting action.
