Payments to Pemex suppliers, which due to delays in their execution have affected the company’s operations, will be normalized in 2026, the director of the state company, Víctor Rodríguez, said on Friday.

Pemex, one of the most indebted oil companies in the world, has for some time been burdened with large liabilities to its suppliers, which has been added to an also high financial debt.
“In 2026 it will be paid according to the contracts, now in a normal manner,” said the official during an appearance before deputies.
