Disney and Formula 1 announced a collaboration that will begin in 2026 to promote two brands that “share affinity for creativity, entertainment and innovation.”

“Our collaboration with Disney promises to be brilliant, since we will present the world of ‘Mickey Mouse & Friends’ to our fans and vice versa. It fits perfectly with our strategy to leave the sports world to reach a broader market,” said Emily Prazer, commercial director of Formula 1.

“In return, we will present Disney to our 820 million fans worldwide,” he added.

The collaboration, whose details will be revealed in the coming months, provides for the launch of “experiences, content and commercial promotion articles” worldwide.

The numbers reveal that more and more young people are fond of Formula 1, with more than four million children between eight and twelve years who usually follow her in Europe and the United States.

In addition, 54% of Formula 1 followers on Tiktok and 40% on Instagram are under 25 years.
