Elon Musk said on Tuesday that his social networks X is working to fix his artificial intelligence chatbot, Grok, after he put on the side of the rival technological chief and CEO of Openai, Sam Altman, in an ongoing dispute with Musk, who threatened to sue Apple on Monday night for accusations that he favors Openai in his application store.

The dispute broke out when Musk claimed that Apple does not allow any artificial intelligence company in addition to OpenAi to reach number 1 in the App Store.
Altman responded by saying that he had “heard” that Musk increased his own commitment to X, qualifying Musk’s accusation as a “remarkable statement given what I have heard that Elon does to manipulate X to benefit himself and her own companies and damage their competitors and the people who do not like it.”
Altman linked to a history of the Platformer technological news media that claimed that Musk pressed the X engineers to make changes that would benefit participation in their publications after the 2023 Super Bowl.

Musk described the accusations of “false defamatory statements” and said that Grok gives too much credibility to traditional media sources, saying that it was an “important problem” that X is working to solve, but also said that he was talking about the integrity of the platform.

During the dispute, Musk was frustrated by the three million visualizations that Altman’s response initially received, noting that Altman has much less followers of X, calling a liar to the CEO of Openai and saying that his publication was nonsense. Altman responded with “skill problem”, a term used in video games to describe someone who lacks the ability to complete a goal. Altman also said that his high participation could be due to bots and added that it would apologize if Musk signed an affidavit that affirms that he has never ordered changes in the X algorithm that harm the competition or benefit their own companies.

The Chinese Startup of the Deepseek shot first place in the App Store in January, when it caused a stir by stating that it was much cheaper and as time as efficient as the models of other competitors of AI such as Openai.
