The Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis suspended the atmospheric contingency due to ozone in the Metropolitan Zone of the Valley of Mexico this Friday afternoon.
With the announcement, the vehicle restrictions announced on Thursday were suspended as of 6:00 p.m.
The metropolitan environmental authority recalled that on Saturday, January 10, the Hoy No Circula program will operate normally.

He explained in a statement that the evolution of meteorological conditions for the Valley of Mexico improved due to the decrease in atmospheric stability and the increase in wind.
He indicated that for Saturday the forecast models predict that the high pressure system will move away from the Valley of Mexico, so better conditions are expected for the dispersion of pollutants.
