A neoclassical-style estate hit the market in Preston Hollow, asking $14.5 million.

Among the priciest listings in Dallas, the cut limestone home at 10617 Bridge Hollow Court was built in 2018 by Greg Alford of Alford Homes. It spans 14,650 square feet on a little under 1.5 acres along Bachman Creek, coming out to about $990 per square foot. Compass agents Faisal Halum and Bill Churchill have the listing.

Two 20-foot-tall wood doors sit under a pediment at the entrance, with 25-foot-high ceilings, a grand staircase, an elevator and wine cellar.

It features six bedrooms, with the primary and guest bedrooms on the first floor, along with living room and dining room, a library, kitchen and prep kitchen, butler’s pantry and a staff office.

The four bedrooms on the second floor have access to two balconies overlooking the backyard, which has a pool, outdoor kitchen with fireplace and three verandas. The property includes a five-car garage and over 2,700 square feet of unfinished space, the listing says.

The seller is Bob Carter, chairman and CEO of Dallas-based Panda Biotech; he has owned the home since it was built. Formerly a natural gas company, Panda turned to industrial hemp processing in the mid-2000s, opening the largest hemp processing facility in the country in Wichita Falls last year.

The home is one of several ultra-luxury listings to hit the Dallas market in January — a 19,000-square-foot estate in Preston Hollow listed for $23.5 million on Jan. 15 at 5100 Park Lane. The home was last listed for $10.5 million in 2020, when it was purchased by Cam and Scott Hall. Rachel Trowbridge and Allie Beth Allman of Allie Beth Allman & Associates have the listing.

Two other homes were re-listed after landing on the market last fall.

9520 Hathaway Street in Preston Hollow relisted at $13.9 million, which is $2 million more than when it was removed in August. Another $1 million was added to the price on Jan. 25, and it’s now asking $14.9 million, or $931 per square foot, and listed by Allie Beth Allman agents Christine Mckenny and Andrea Nayfa.

Another home, at 4307 Armstrong Parkway in Highland Park, returned for almost $20 million after it was on the market only four days in October; it’s asking about $2,000 per square foot. Compass agent Michelle Wood has the listing.
