The American company Valero Energy said that it must have momentarily suspend its fuel imports after being notified by the SAT, on April 9, about a suspension of the import pattern.
“The company is attending promptly each of the administrative observations indicated in the suspension with the objective of clarifying them. Likewise, it is stated that the company does not have current import permission which is false because it is in force until 2038,” said the manufacturer and commercialization of transport fuels in a statement.

It was not immediately possible to have a comment from the Tax Administration Service (SAT) on the measure.
