Donald Trump’s National Security Advisor promised this Friday unleashing the “Holy Hell” against the drug cartels responsible for the smuggling of fentanyl through the southern border, according to a report by the Daily Mail.

Mike Waltz made those comments two days after Donald Trump’s administration designated eight cartels as “foreign terrorist organizations.”

That unleashed speculations about the possibility of military actions or even drone attacks, according to the medium.

“We are going to unleash the cartels,” he said at the Conservative Political Action Conference on the outskirts of Washington, DC.

“It’s enough. We are securing our border and the cartels are on notice, ”he added.

The Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegesh, has made it clear that he and Trump are open to use military force within Mexico, according to the media.

“All options will be on the table if we are dealing with what is considered foreign terrorist organizations that specifically attack Americans on our border,” he said.

The media recalled that earlier this week it was learned that American drones were flying over northwestern Mexico, after the Pentagon said that it intensified surveillance capabilities along the shared border.
