The Attorney General of the Republic, Alejandro Gertz Manero, confirmed on Tuesday that the Izaguirre Ranch, in Teuchitlán, Jalisco, was “a training field of the Jalisco Nueva Generación poster (CJNG)”, but said that “there is no evidence” that the place was used as a crematorium.
“We already have totally proven that this was a recruitment center, training and operation of the New Generation Jalisco cartel. This is approved by confessional, testimonial, documentaries, that is, the amplitude of that information is absolutely unquestionable,” said the official during a press conference.
However, Gertz indicated that “there is no evidence” that it would be used as a crematorium, in his appearance month and a half after his finding for a collective of relatives of disappeared from the state of Jalisco.

Two members of the group found by the alleged crematorium were killed
Last week, armed people shunned two members of the Guerreros Searchers collective, who denounced the discovery of hundreds of garments and bone remains at the Izaguirre Rancho in Teuchitlán, supposedly used by drug trafficking to train young people.
According to the collective, its members Carmen Morales and their son Jaime Ramírez died from the injuries caused by a firearm attack perpetrated by unknown people.
In a statement, the Jalisco Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the attack, perpetrated on Wednesday, April 23 by two men on a motorcycle, and said it investigates the case, although it ruled out for the moment it is linked to the activity of the organization.
