“I’m sorry, but I can’t bear it anymore. This draft spending law of Congress, massive, scandalous and full of unnecessary expenses, is a disgusting abomination. What a shame for those who voted in favor: they know they made a mistake. They know it,” wrote the businessman in X.
In a second publication, the Tesla and Spacex executive warned that the project “will massively increase the budget giant to 2.5 billion dollars (!!!) and will carry US citizens with a devastatingly unsustainable debt.”

Musk said goodbye last Friday of his position in the government after having expressed criticism against Trump’s great fiscal plan, arguing that the public deficit will increase and endanger the results of the Government Efficiency Department (Doge, in English) he headed.
