The number of Tesla vehicles owners in the United States who are replacing them with those of other brands has increased more than ever, at the same time as the CEO of the automotive firm, Elon Musk, increases its relationship with the government of President Donald Trump, according to data from the Edmunds company.
The company, which provides information and research on the automobile sector, said that in March 2025 the proportion of Tesla owners who went to the concessionaires of rival brands to change their vehicles for others stood in the “highest quota” never reached.
The data indicate that while in March 2024, only 0.4% of all vehicles changed by other rival brands were Tesla, until mid -March 2025 the figure had multiplied to 1.4%.
