The Video Games developer company Epic Games requested to return Fornite, one of its star creations, at the App Store service in the US after winning its legal battle against the Apple technological giant last month.
“We have sent Fortnite to Apple to review it and so that we can launch it in the App Store within the US,” they reported Friday from the video game itself, Fornite, in the social network X.
This game, which since 2018 has always occupied the World Top 2 by number of users, was eliminated from the App Store in 2020, after Epic Games update it and included in its mobile version a link that redirected to its website to bill its own sales.
The maneuver sought to avoid any Apple commission for sales or discharges of content or exclusive improvements of Fornite.

And it is that Apple is pocketed between 15% and 30% of purchases made through its payment system integrated in the ‘app’.
However, this decision of Epic Games caused the company of the bite apple to veto it from its online application store, leading to a litigation that had its last resolution last month.
Then, a court failed that Apple could not charge commissions for external sales from its platform or tax those companies that put links within the App Store, giving the reason to Epic Games.
Now it is Apple’s turn, which has resorted to the failure and could still reject the request of Epic Games, to consider whether Fornite is again available in its service for the United States.
Epic Games also sued Google, Play Store operator for Android phones, for similar reasons.

Fortnite is available for iPhone in Europe, where third -party applications are regulated under the Digital Markets Law, since last year through the Epic Games online store.
