Gasolina Bienestar, a subsidiary company of Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) Created in the time of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, it seeks to sell more than 1,373,650,000 liters of gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel to the world.
“The subsidiary company of Petróleos Mexicanos needs to supply (gasoline, diesel and jet fuel) to strengthen its presence internationally, which will have a greater economic benefit for the country,” reveals documentation in the possession of Forbes Mexico.

Before selling the fuel used by vehicles and airplanes abroad, Gasolina Bienestar requested 4 permits from the Ministry of Energy (Sener), who gave it the green light to export gasoline, diesel and jet fuel for one year.
A pair of permits granted by Sener to Gasolina Bienestar is for the export of 763 million liters of Magna gasoline, a fuel valued at 864 million dollars.
Another of the permits requested from Sener is for the export of 515 million 118 thousand liters of Magna gasoline, which are valued at 540 million dollars.
Gasolina Bienestar also requested approval for the export of 95 million 392 thousand liters of jet fuel, which has a price of 67 million dollars, explains the Ministry of Energy.
Gasolina Bienestar must cover the legal requirements, permits, official Mexican standards and applicable regulations in federal, state and municipal matters, details the agency in charge of Luz Elena González Escobar.

The Pemex subsidiary must exercise the traceability that it accredited to obtain this authorization, as well as inform the Ministry of Energy of its fuel export logistics.
Another of Gasolinas Bienestar’s obligations is the correct tariff classification of the merchandise subject to the request, which is the responsibility of the Customs Agent in accordance with article 54 of the Customs Law.
The oil company of well-being
During the government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, parastatals such as Gas del Bienestar and Gasolinas Bienestar were created from Petróleos Mexicanos, which sell and distribute fuels in the national market, and Gasolinas Bienestar, which is in charge of exporting.
At the end of February 2022, Petróleos Mexicanos created Gasolinas Bienestar, a company dedicated to the purchase, sale, marketing, import, export, manufacturing, distribution, promotion and trade of hydrocarbons, petroleum products and petrochemicals.
Another of the activities of the Pemex subsidiary is to be an agent, commission agent, intermediary, representative or agent of companies, businesses or natural or legal persons, Mexican or foreign, public or private.
On the day of its founding, Gasolina Bienestar had Marcos Manuel Herrerería Alamina as president of the Board of Directors.
Gasoline Bienestar intends to sell gasoline, diesel and jet fuel to Norway, Switzerland, Syria, Taiwan, Togo, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Ireland, United States, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
They also want to deliver barrels of gasoline, diesel and jet fuel to the Vatican, Costa Rica, Curacao, Iraq, Gaza Strip, Iceland, Palestine, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Aruba, Yugoslavia, United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Albania, Andorra, Angola, Argentina, Australia and Germany.
The plan of the Pemex parastatal contemplates the sale of fuels to Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Benin, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belize, Bermuda, Bhutan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brunei, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Chad, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Chile, China, Colombia, Congo, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Denmark and Dominica.
Gasolina Bienestar plans to market gasoline, diesel and jet fuel in Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Eritrea, Estonia, Ethiopia, France, Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Greece, Guinea, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary and India.
Other markets where Mexican fuel will arrive are Iran, Israel, Italy, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Jordan, North Korea, South Korea, Kuwait, Laos, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macao, Macedonia and Madagascar.

The export plan includes Malawi, Malaysia, Mali, Malta, Marshall Islands, Martinique, Mauritania, Mauritius, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nepal, Oman, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan and Panama.
Other markets considered are Paraguay, Peru, Qatar, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, San Marino, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Slovenia, Somalia, South Africa, Spain, Sudan, Suriname, Netherlands, Algeria, Armenia, Bahamas, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Myanmar, Canada, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Finland and Indonesia.
