Gisèle Pélicot, the French woman who resigned from anonymity in the rape trial against her ex -husband and another 50 men, will publish her memoirs on January 27, 2026 simultaneously worldwide with the title “A Hymn to Life,” Lummen publisher announced Thursday, which has acquired the rights in Spanish.
“Now I want to tell my story with my own words. Through this book I hope to convey a message of strength and courage to all those who are subjected to terrible adversities. They never feel shame. And that, over time, they learn again to enjoy life and find peace,” explains Pelicot in a press release.
In addition, he reiterates that he feels “immensely grateful for the incredible support” he has received since the beginning of the trial held in 2024, in which he inspired and excited millions of people with their courage and dignity.
His work will reach the bookstores of Spain and Latin America simultaneously with the French edition and another twenty languages worldwide.

Dominique Pélicot was sentenced to 20 years in prison last December after admitting the repeated violations to which he submitted his wife Gisèle after drugs, in addition to offering her to other men through the Internet to do the same while filming them.
