Ernestina Godoy, Luz María Zarza Delgado and Maribel Bojorges Beltrán make up the shortlist that President Claudia Sheinbau sent to the Senate to define the next head of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) after the departure of Alejandro Gertz Manero, according to a publication published by Quadratín México.
The president of the Board of Directors, Laura Itzel Castillo, confirmed receipt of the document through her official account on the X platform.
“The president has sent us the letter in which she sends us the three candidates to occupy the Attorney General’s Office,” the publication states.

This Wednesday morning, during the morning conference, Shienbaum had already announced that the shortlist was on its way.
“I already sent the shortlist, there are three women. They will announce it in a while,” he declared.
Sheinbaum explained that the Senate has all the elements to continue the appointment process.
